Dxd2 O-O Until here both played the openingstheorie... 11. d5 Not , very inspired especially if your king is not yet in safety 11... exd5 12. exd5 Lg4 And black has the better play with whites monarch in the middle 13. Le2 Lxf3 14. Lxf3 Te8+ 15. Le2 De7 16. Tc1 Sd7 Assesment: White has the bishop for the KNight but an isolated pawn and the King is still in the centre. The chances are therefore more or less balanced. 17. Tc2 Tad8 18. O-O Sf6 The pin on the bishop is just resolved and black focussed on the 2nd weakness , the d-pawn. 19. Lf3 Se4 19... Sxd5 20. Dc2 Strange move, leaving the bishop up for the crocodiles, but black has still a problem with his Knight and Turbo advanced Trainer kind of acknowledges this in his move sequence. 25. Lf3 Texd5 26. Dxd5 Txd5 27. Txd5 f5 25... Dxg4 26. f3 Dc8 27. Dxc8 Txc8 28. Txe4 Tee8 29. Txe8+ Txe8 All of a sudden an endgame, with an pushed pawn, in reach of blacks rook and king, but to attack the pawn with both, black requires more moves then the white king to come over ....... 30. d6 Td8 31. Kf2 Kf8 32. Ke3 Ke8 33. Ke4 Kd7 34. Kd5 h6 35. h3 h5 36. g3 h4 The last moves are tipical woodpushing moves .. . 37. gxh4? 37. Tb1 b6 38. Te1 hxg3 39. Te7+ Kc8 40. Tc7+ Kb8 41. Txf7 37... Th8 38. Te1 Th5+ 39. Te5 Txe5+ Af first I thought, how can the Super Mondial be so sure this is the best move ? But If I calculate the Rxh4 alaternative, the move of the Super Mondial is actually the only hope he has. 39... Txh4 40. Te7+ Kd8 41. Txb7 Tf4 42. Kc6 40. Kxe5 Kc6 With the aim to pin blacks pawns 40... b5 41. Kd5 b4 41. h5 Kd7 42. Kd5 b5 Black had to make a decision. 43. f4 a6 44. f5 f6 44... b4?? 45. f6 g6 (45... gxf6 46. h6 and white will promote to Queen) 46. hxg6 fxg6 47. f7 and here to, whit will promote to Queen 45. Kb5 Kxf5 51. a4 Ke6 52. a5?? Unbelievable when I saw this, in such a position you simply block of the returning King ... but the Saitek Trubo Advanced Trainer, sespite thinking much longer in the Endgame, does not recognise this simple rule of thumb.... what a painfull way to handle such a winning endgame !!! 52. Kc6 52... Kd7 53. Kb6 Kc8 54. a6 Kb8 55. a7+ Ka8 56. h4 Very important move, it forces a Zugzwang, where black has to give up his f6 depended pawn. 56... f5 57. Kc5 Kxa7 58. Kd4 f4 59. Ke4 f3 60. Kxf3 Kb7 61. Ke4 Kc7 62. Kf5 Kd6 And as Black comes too late... the game is won for white. So the Saitek Turbo advanced Trainer won eventually. To me this program has more then once dissappointed me and my strength estimate is something around the 1800barirer. 63. Kg6 1-0 [Stefan Timmermans]
