About the manufacturer Scisys (= Scientific Systems)

After the original co-partners of Novag Eric Winkler and Peter Auge parted ways in 1979, the Swissman Eric Winkler moved on to form his own company SciSys which was later renamed to Saitek in 1987. Novag and SciSys for a while sold the same computers which they had previously jointly developed. SciSys Chess Champion Super System MK IV was sold as both Novag and SciSys.
